Pee Pee and Aluminum inhalation...
A big day at the Dawson homestead.
I fell asleep next to my husband while our precious son napped (he's down to 2 naps for those keeping track or who know that joy of night sleep that it creates). Unfortunately, I had started a pot of water to boil, and when I awoke, the water had boiled out leaving only the smell of Aluminum throughout the kitchen. After a nice talk with Daniel at poison control, we just hung out outside while the windows and stove-fan aired out the smell. FYI over-exposure to Aluminum can cause flu-like symptoms. But God protected us and we had a blast outside waiting for Daddy to return from playing basketball to hear about my first "poison control" adventure. They called later that night to check on John Paul- isn't that so sweet?
The bath later that night was also interesting- John Paul loves to stand. So after removing all his clothes- his favorite time of day- his stood along side the tub and watched the precious bath water flow from the faucet. It created such joy in his heart that his bladder could no longer contain itself, and he peed standing up! What a big boy, and today mommy is airing out the bath mat! My little man is a big boy now! He also slept until 4:30 this morning before being nursed and then returning to sleep until 6:15- I'm in Heaven!

Oh the things you would never do!
I have a bachelor's in Early Childhood Ed and a master's in Child Development... all educating me AWAY from any television especially before the age of one. But sometimes I just need a freakin' shower. I have decided to open the floor for any followers who have pictures of their children doing/eating/playing with those things which they swore they would never allow. If I had a picture of a passy in church, that would be the other thing! How about you?

Just a bit moblie...
I'm pretty sure you can't call this crawling, or bear-crawling, or even scooting. But it's a combination of using his arms like an army private and using his toes like Jim Carey in "How the Grinch stole Christmas." He is "throwing" the ring into the hard ground and letting physics take over so that he can chase it. The lovely lady stopping him from running into the brick is my precious and wonderful mother-in-law. Enjoy!

Sarah Darbonne Green
For those of you who haven't caught up with Sarah for a while, I wanted to brag on her wonderful family! Her husband Steven, and her two girls Madeline Claire and Anna Katherine (who has yet to be one nick-name. She is Anna, Anna Kate, Annie, etc etc). If you want to see more pictures, check out the link to their family photos on the side!
