This is a blog that my brother-in-law found. It is dedicated to cake orders gone awry, and is complete with explanations. You may have an accident!

David speaks at Abbey Youth Fest!
At St. Joseph Abbey, where David was first in seminary, they asked him to speak on Adoration, which is what Catholics believe to be the adoring of the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. About 4000 people attended the festival this year. Yes, he looks like Jesus, but that's for a Good Friday Way of the Cross in New Orleans... not for this. Isn't he a trip?!? What a fantastic person!

St. Patrick's Day!
With my sister-in-law Julia
David's brother Pete, his wife Julia and 9-year old Patrick - the youngest Dawson
John Paul with Granny and Grandma!
What's Irish and stays out all night?
Patio furniture!
The Dawson family celebrates St. Patty's Day in a BIG WAY, so we were out in the Garden District by 8:30 sippin' Irish Coffee and singing traditional Irish songs. We then retired to my in-laws for a fantastic party involving MORE singing and Irish coffee. John Paul slept 30 minutes the entire day, so we really paid for it that night (maybe the coffee was more concentrated in my milk than usual). It was worth being with friends and family, though.
